Budawang National Park
20km from Braidwood this park features rugged peaks and wild, angular sandstone country. Access not being easy the bushwalking in the area is for the more experienced. Roads into the park are rough with the easiest access being from the western side.

Deua National Park
The wild country of this park offers some epic walks for the experienced bushwalker as well as some easier hikes along Deuha River. There are fabulous limestone caves to explore including the 96m deep Big Hole whilst the Shoalhaven River is a favorite for experienced paddlers.
The park is situated 100km south-east of Canberra with camping at Deua River and Bakers Flat (both on Araluen Rd), Berlang rest area (on Shoalhaven River) or secluded Bendethera.

Morton National Park
Rivers have eroded deep gorges through the sandstone of this wilderness park . In the north spectacular waterfalls are to be found around the Fitzroy Falls area. Ettrema Creek is part of a rare wilderness and is only accessible after a long walk. Pigeon House Mountain offers incredible views to the south.
The park is located 17km south of Moss Vale ,155km south-west of Sydney and a camp-ground is located at Gambells Rest and Bundanoon. Bookings:-(048) 877 270.

Tarlo River National Park
Located 30km north-east of Goulburn access is limited as it is surrounded by private property. The park is a refuge for platypus, long-necked tortoises, waterbirds, wallabies and wombats.

Wadbilliga National Park
Located 150km south-east of Canberra this mountain wilderness cradles one of the state's largest undisturbed river catchments
