An Australia Sponsorship Visa (Sponsorship 457 Visa) allows you to be sponsored by an Australian employer to live and work in Australia for up to four years.
Visa First organises more than 600 sponsorship visas for Australia every year and can organise your Australian visa in just 4-8 weeks, depending on your application. We can also organise bridging visas for applications onshore, which will allow you to work for your employer while the sponsorship visa is being processed (this only applies if you already have a permit to work on your current Australian Visa).
To be eligible for an Australia Sponsorship Visa you must:
be sponsored by an eligible Australian employer to fill a nominated position;
have proof of a job offer which meets the minimum salary requirements;
have the skills, qualifications and work experience required for the position;
be eligible for any relevant licences or registration required for the nominated position.

Under the conditions of the Australia Sponsorship Visa you must work for the company that is sponsoring you for the length of your visa. Many people will apply for a skilled migration visa in Australia while working on a sponsorship visa as the Oz skilled migration visa will allow you work for any employer you wish once you are working in your occupation.
Visa First can find jobs for Nurses and Tradespeople. If you are neither, then you will need to have a job offer already in order to apply for this Australian work visa.
Most agents charge you a fee for organising your Australian sponsorship visa and also charge you a management fee which is usually a percentage of your salary. Your employer pays the management company and you are in turn paid by the management company minus their fee, typically 10-12% of your salary per month or approximately $AU6000 in additional indirect fees per year. You can avoid these extra management fees by booking your visa through Visa First.
